Im going to Tokyo this weekend for 3 days. I got a capsule hotel lined up, and my shinkansen tickets. Yeah, Im pretty stoked.

I knew your name sounded familiar! This is Felipe Rancier, don't know if you remember me way back when going through middle and high school. I'm in Hiratsuka-sensei's 110 class this semester and I plan on making my way out to Japan also, but it seems that you beat me there! Sorry I missed you at the Skype event; I walked in literally minutes after you were done. I don't have many questions for ya but I would like to know what was the hardest thing for you to adjust to coming from the US to Japan? Have there been any unexpected factors you have come across your journey through Japan?...Also, do you get claustrophobic in one of those hotels? It seems that I would be a tight squeeze for me.
Anyway, it was good to hear from you, enjoy your Japan experience and hope to talk to ya again soon!
